Blog But Smaller

As the name suggests, this page holds what’s usually referred to as microblogs or nanologs. A name I wanted to use initially (that being picoblog, like nanolog but even smaller) was kinda unoriginal + the fact that it sounded like that made me pick this wonderful(!) name that’s obviously better at every way- Nuh uh.

Anyways, just go on and read these smol blosts if you want to.

  New giallo theme… giallo?

  Apparently when I was happily copying some lines to quickly get my site running wayy before I could remember, around that time Zola’s devs has developed and integrated (or just wanted to use this tool) Giallo, a tool that can use color themes and language syntax definitions (i think) in VSCode or TextMate format.

  And I have happily lived after, using Monokai Pro as the color theme (Daudix loves his purples, doesn’t he?), until I remembered to mess around with this… thing. I customized this site to use Gruvbox color palette —it might not be a fan favourite, but it definitely is for me—, why don’t do it for the code blocks?

  Well, friends —ones that are reading this, at least—, take a look at this:

  As you probably do(’nt) know, I am interested in drawing stuff; and a few days ago (by that I mean two, relative to the time I wrote this entry) I drew some stuff:

  About the weird wording on “Hello, finally!”: I lowkey got too excited and kinda mistyped some stuff, lol.

  Oh and this entry has another purpose: testing out the all newn’t¹ tools.sh that I am now using to run “zola serve” in a pinned tab (I’m using Ptyxis as my terminal) and add/commit/push stuff to the GitHub repo of this site.

  I initially added some checks to warn for missing dependencie(s, after thinking out making a tool with gum) and that kind of snowballed into this “zola tools with two entries that need to be coded + a minimal ass git manager”.

  I mean; if it works then then we ball 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑

  “Hello”, finally!

  Yes, that’s the word I’m going to use for the title of what’s the grand opening of this stupidly amazing thing I call…
  Drum roll, please... yo Daudy, if you’re reading this, then please forgive me for stealing this thing —yet again — twice— from you u_u

  This was the “BBS” thingy I was talking (if you saw me write about this in chats) or working on since August 24^th (2026) —I think that adds up to ~9days — before giving up on the idea of using mostly hacked up version of Daudix’s nanologs — I wanted to work on it through May 14^th until three weeks ago until the page’s removal. That adds ~5 months of yearning for a kind of stupid but also smart thing that is basically blogs that are smaller — do you see where I’m going?

  That’s why I am only going to say: Hello!
